There are some things that logic can’t explain. And that’s okay. Because sometimes, what matters most isn’t what you can prove. It’s what you feel in the deepest part of your chest.
I kept the notes in a scrapbook. Someday, I’ll show them to my kids. Maybe they’ll believe. Maybe they won’t.
But they’ll know this:
Love doesn’t die. It changes forms. It lingers in notes and chipped mugs and warm memories. It teaches you how to hold someone in your heart even when your hands are empty.
And if you’re lucky, it leaves behind signs. Little reminders that someone is still rooting for you. Still watching. Still dancing in a kitchen somewhere, under a song only they can hear.
So if you’re reading this, look around. Pay attention. Maybe your signs are waiting too.
And if you’ve got someone you love, tell them. Right now. Don’t wait for a note.
Life’s too short not to say the good stuff out loud.
If this story touched your heart, please like and share it with someone you love. You never know what kind of smile you might bring to their day.
