Because kindness wasn’t something money could buy, and my heart still had an endless supply of it. Slowly, stubbornly, hope returned—one small, deliberate step at a time.

Then, the world began to open its doors. After months of rejections and ghosted applications, I was offered a senior position with a generous salary. Bolstered by that stability, I took a calculated leap of faith and launched my own consulting business right from my laptop.

Friends quickly became a second family, and our little apartment gradually transformed from empty floors into a cozy sanctuary humming with warmth, books, and light. My children watched me rise—not through blind luck or sudden inheritance, but through sheer determination, grit, and grace. And the day we finally went out and purchased our very first brand-new couch felt less like a shopping trip and more like a hard-won national holiday.
