Bride Banned Water Bottles at Wedding During 102°F for ‘Aesthetic’ – Groom’s Mom Had Other Plans

with sounds like champagne corks popping at New Year’s. The relief on people’s faces was immediate and visible.

Meanwhile, Chloe was standing there watching this scene unfold.

“WHAT. IS.

HAPPENING?!” she finally exploded, her voice hitting a pitch I didn’t think was humanly possible.

She stormed toward Linda with her arms flailing like an angry bird..

“You’re completely undermining my entire wedding!” she shrieked at Linda, pointing accusingly at the hydration station. “That is store-brand water! We had a vision!

We had a plan! This is ruining everything!”

Linda, who was now calmly sipping an iced tea and looking more relaxed than she had all day, looked Chloe directly in the eye and said with perfect composure, “I had a vision too, dear. One where nobody faints at my son’s wedding.”

But Chloe wasn’t done.

She spun around to face all the guests who were gratefully drinking water and cooling themselves with the fans.

“EVERYONE GET BACK TO YOUR POSITIONS!” she yelled. “We’re not done with photos yet! Do you people have any idea how much I paid for this photographer?!

You’re completely ruining the lighting and the composition!”

When absolutely no one moved from the refreshment station, Chloe stomped her foot like a toddler having a tantrum and let out an ear-piercing shriek.

“This is MY DAY! Not a water park! Not a sports event!

STOP DRINKING RIGHT NOW!”

But her reign of terror was officially over.

Nobody was listening to her anymore. People were too busy rehydrating and cooling down to care about her aesthetic vision.

Just as Chloe was reaching for her phone, probably to call security or her wedding planner or maybe the National Guard, Ben’s sister, Emily, casually strolled over with the biggest smile I’d ever seen.

“Hey Chloe,” Emily said sweetly, “I just wanted to give you a quick heads-up about something. That whole meltdown you just had?

The videographer caught every single second of it. Full audio, full video. It’s absolutely iconic footage.”

The color drained from Chloe’s face as the reality hit her.

And here’s the part that made this story legendary in our family.

Emily had already shared the footage in our family group chat before Chloe even realized what had happened.

By the end of the reception, that video had been seen by more relatives than had actually attended the wedding.

Ben’s marriage lasted about eight months.

But Linda’s heroic hydration rescue? That story is going to live forever.
